Parrot - Pastels

This is the lesson to get you started with pastels. I take you step-by-step in a very relaxed manner as you create this beautifully colourful Parrot with me.

Very limited supplies required
Just a small piece of pastelmat paper and a few pastel pencils is all that you need.
You can use the supplies you already have.

I used just pastel pencils for this lesson to keep it nice and simple.
The colours I used are listed in the photo but of course you can use any pastel pencil brand you want and as long as you have fairly similar colours you will be just fine (you DO NOT need exact colours at all).

This 1hr lesson is all in real-time. Its just like sitting next to me in my studio, as I share everything you need to know to draw this lovely little pastel.

Bit by bit we will complete the drawing together, building both colour and then detail.
