VIDEO Download Help
Downloading your videos
After you click to buy the downloads, you will get an automated / immediate email.
This email will have a single link on it to take you to the download page - click it.
When the download page opens you will see a box which will have your video file links on it (near the bottom in blue). The Snow Leopard Video has 4 links to download as it is a long film its in 4 parts.
All you have to do is hover over the button with your cursor, then RIGHT CLICK . This will give you the option to “Save As” or “Save Target As” or something like that. Click “SAVE AS”.
In the “Save As” box that opens, just select somewhere you will remember to save your video, then click - SAVE
Your download then starts to download - when it has finished downloading you can watch your video.
Do this Right click / Save As procedure with all the download files.
It really is VERY simple and takes literally 10 seconds.
I have made downloading my videos as easy as possible. Its basically just a couple of clicks, but if you do get a little confused the tips below should help.
The video is long so might take a while to download. You Must wait for it to download before playing or it will not work.
Ipads / Tablets
I am not an expert on Tablets etc at all, but I can tell you that my videos definitely play on them, as the videos are in the industry standard MP4 file format. Be aware that the videos a large files and Tablets don't normally have very large storage. As far as I am aware, if you download the videos to your computer, add them to your iTunes videos and sync with your Ipad you can play them from there easily
High Quality / Lower Quality Videos
You will see High Quality (HQ) files and also possibly Low Quality (LQ) files and they are as you would expect, High and Low quality versions of the video. If you have a slower or unstable Internet connection you might want to download the Low Quality videos.
Video File Sizes
File sizes are fairly large -
High Quality files approx - 300mb - 1.2GB ave each
Low Quality files approx - 500MB each
Playing the Videos
The videos should play in just about any video media player as the files are MP4 and VERY common. They play very well in “Windows Media Player”.
Or you can download the very popular FREE media player - “VLC Media Player” from here http://videolan.org/vlc
I have found to get the best quality from VLC player go into VLC
“Tools” - “Effects + Filters” - “Video Effects” - “Sharpen” increase the Sigma slider a TINY BIT you can also click “Image Adjust” and increase “contrast”a little to get a Perfect picture
